More Unimog Dash decal reproductions – side by side comparison
Recently a fellow Unimogger sent me photos of two more dash decals – Number 4 and 5 below. In the process of making the new decals, I created new images of each decal with the new and old versions side by side.
#4 has mostly familiar stuff except for the new bit on the right with 540. I believe that has to do with the PTO and the 540 is RPM.
#5 is a labyrinth of confusion. Luckily it is color coordinated.
Yellow stuff: Maybe this has something to do with snow blower controls? I am thinking that weird object is a snow blower…
Orange stuff: This looks like it is the eight main shift gears. Not sure what the “I” and “II” represent. Also, I am not sure what the arrows mean or why the turtle, rabbit and donkey are there.
Turquoise stuff: The little piece at top left is used in other decals for parking brake. The rest of it maybe has to do with the PTO?
If you have any insight, please comment below or email me. I would love to know what all of this means.
